“The big advantage of this jacket over most others is that you’ll get less condensation inside, thanks to the ADS Laminate that wicks it away faster than conventional waterproof fabric could ever do. The result is you stay drier in this than in most waterproofs. This extra lining makes the jacket warmer, but there are pit zips to combat this. There’s a dedicated map pocket and, for winter, there’s a snow skirt that can be zipped out. The hood is removable or can be rolled into the collar, and it works very well on the head too.
