This beautiful Rover II Jacket is made from a double layer of organic Ventile, which is a fabric that has been made from sustainably grown cotton (the fibres are Global Organic Textile Standard certified), without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers.

The premium extra-long staple cotton fibres are only found in 0.04% of the world cotton crop, and are turned into a unique fully twisted cotton yarn with increased durability and lifespan. This reduces the unnecessary frequency of consumer purchases, limiting the negative impact of textiles production upon the environment.

It also has a PFC free Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish, which is the first of it’s kind in the textile industry. The new finish contains 63% renewably sourced content, derived from a variety of plant-based sources. Ventile has been working for many years on this solution, and is proud to have found a DWR replacement for PFCs that doesn’t compromise the quality of the fabric.
