Decades of wear and a few puppy mishaps - now repaired and back in use.

Some kit gets worn. And then there’s the kind of gear that becomes part of everyday life. For one of our long-time customers, their Keela fleece jacket had become exactly that - a daily companion, worn year-round apart from the height of summer. It served as a catch-all for the essentials of dog walks and day-to-day life: bits of sausage, dog biscuits (and human ones), poo bags, handkerchiefs, and whatever else might be needed!

Chewed, Torn, and Still Going Strong

We recently heard from Jon, who got in touch to make use of our repairs service. He told us about his Keela reversible fleece jacket, which he described as an “absolute godsend” over the years - a well-worn piece of kit that had given sterling service in all conditions.

But, as he explained, it had also become something of a casualty of puppy life. Their new Flatcoat Retriever had taken a particular liking to the fleece - chewing through a pocket to get at hidden treats and loosening the zip in the process.

Rather than replacing it, Jon chose to revive it - and we were happy to help.

We’ve been repairing kit since the 1980s, and that experience matters. We know that a good jacket doesn’t usually need replacing - it just needs the right care to keep going. So we carefully repaired a tear at the pocket and replaced the damaged zip.
