People & Planet Fund
We are excited to announce the launch of our People & Planet Fund. Through this initiative, we will allocate 2% of our online sales* to support outdoor initiatives, charities, and projects that enhance our planet and improve access to it.
1% for the People: This portion of the fund supports initiatives that help and encourage children and adults from all walks of life to explore and enjoy the outdoors, especially those who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity.
1% for the Planet: This portion of the fund is dedicated to protecting and preserving our environment for future generations.
Join us in making a difference for both people and the planet.
*this excludes our Bright Friday sales period - where we give 15% of online web-sales during that period to the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign

For the Outdoors
As an outdoor industry company, we owe our existence to our beautiful planet and the people who explore it. While we have always been dedicated to improving the environment and encouraging outdoor activities, our new fund solidifies this commitment and makes our efforts clearer.
We have chosen to allocate a percentage of our total sales to this fund because we believe it is more transparent than using a percentage of profits, which can fluctuate.

Improving Outdoor Access
1% For the People
Over the years, we have partnered with numerous charities to enhance access to the outdoors. We are proud to have supported Outward Bound for many years and are excited to extend our support through our 1% for the People fund.
Outward Bound's mission is to inspire young people to believe in their potential and achieve more than they ever thought possible. Their funding helps break down barriers and unlock opportunities for those who need it most.
Helping the Environment
1% for the Planet
We are committed to enhancing our sustainability efforts through our legacy project. Our new 1% for the Planet fund will enable us to support targeted environmental initiatives, helping to preserve our beautiful planet for future generations.
In the past, we have contributed to diverse projects, from restoring nature trails to providing warmth for homeless hedgehogs. As we embark on this new fund, we would love for you to share your ideas on where our support should be directed this year.
