Freetime is committed to offering sustainable outdoor gear that respects the environment. Since 2020, all of their backpacks and sleeping bags have been 100% free from Perfluorocarbon (PFC) and Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), making them a leader in eco-friendly outdoor products.
Why PFC-Free Matters
PFCs are chemicals commonly used to make outdoor fabrics water-resistant. As part of the PFAS family, these substances are notorious for their environmental persistence and potential health risks.
SLEEPING BAGS
RESPONSIBLE DOWN
Freetime is dedicated to responsible down sourcing, using only R.D.S. certified down from KL Down and Allied Feather + Down to ensure full transparency and traceability. The Responsible Down Standard® guarantees that no down comes from animals subjected to live plucking or force-feeding. Freetime’s down sleeping bags feature high-quality 90/10 GDD, with 90% down clusters and 10% feathers for optimal loft and insulation.
With a Fill Power of 700, the bags offer excellent insulation performance. Additionally, the down is treated with a fluorocarbon-free, water-resistant wax-based product for superior moisture protection.
