Why Choose the Men's Rescue Munro Jacket:

Technical weather protection: Waterproof, windproof and breathable construction combines with System Dual Protection technology and condensation control to help maintain comfort in demanding conditions.
Room to layer and move: A generous Explorer Fit accommodates cold-weather layers, while articulated sleeves support freedom of movement and reinforced shoulder panels add durability.
Adaptable coverage: A four-way adjustable rollaway hood with a wired peak, adjustable neck baffle, long scooped back and detachable snow skirt help shield you from the elements.
Ventilation and adjustment: Underarm ventilation zips help release excess heat, while adjustable cuffs and drawcords at the neck, waist and hem help tailor the fit. A two-way front zip sits beneath double storm flaps.
Organised storage: Two large zipped chest pockets, two fleece-lined lower zipped pockets, an internal OS map-sized pocket and a secure media pocket keep essentials close at hand.

Perfect For:

Mountain rescue duties, demanding mountain walks and expeditions when you need durable weather protection with room for layering. Adjust ventilation and underlying layers to suit the weather, activity level and your individual needs.

Why System Dual Protection?

System Dual Protection combines weather protection with condensation control to help manage moisture inside the jacket. It supports the Munro’s waterproof, windproof and breathable performance during active use in challenging conditions.

Fabric Technology

SDP Condensation Control

SDP was originally developed for use in Military applications, and has gone on to be used by Tactical Forces, Mountain Rescue and Emergency Services requiring performance clothing that works as hard as they do.

It has become a popular choice with the outdoor community and has been used to conquer the world’s toughest mountain summits and survive the harshest Arctic conditions.

In recognition of SDP’s success, Keela was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation, one of the UK’s most prestigious awards, which recognises outstanding achievement in the categories of international trade, innovation and sustainable development. Keela are grateful for the recognition of their innovations and continue to further develop System Dual Protection to ensure our customers know they can face the elements with confidence and in comfort.
