Our range of Zetland fabrics is the ideal fleece fabric for the outdoor
world. With a soft touch but still hard wearing, this special 100% polyester
fabric is tightly knitted during manufacture to provide excellent thermal
properties and all round insulation.

Non-pill and easy-care, Zetland fabric is ideal for a wide variety of

Why is it good:- On the face of it; this is another seemingly unremarkable fleece, but this excellent garment ticks all the right boxes. It’s lightweight, made from a quick drying anti pill fleece and it’s constructed without any seams over the shoulders. The bottom hem has drawcord adjusters on each side of the zip for comfort, and the ends are tailed so they don’t dangle. This fleece also comes with the option to zip it into your waterproof jacket thanks to the reversible puller and unobtrusive loops below the cuffs to enable you to anchor the sleeves.

Whats let it down:- Nothing. This is a fine fleece that combines warmth and comfort.

GROUGH - "THE JACKET IS COMFORTABLE, ITS SOFT FABRIC FEELING SNUG AGAINST THE BODY".

The zip is backed by a baffle to keep out the wind and the jacket’s hem has a drawcord with two spring toggles, to cinch it in and keep out updraughts. The collar is quite high and also has a drawcord so it can be pulled in tighter to keep out the wind on colder days. The sleeves have generous elasticated cuffs, which hugged the wrist well.

The fabric is stretchy and allowed good movement when reaching up. Keela says the material is anti-pilling to minimise those bobbles that develop with wear.

The Skye Pro Fleece was among the warmest in the test and windblocking was good. The jacket is comfortable, its soft fabric feeling snug against the body. On warmer days there was a fair build-up of perspiration but it wicked this to the outer surface well.
